Arjan Kruidhof is a multidisciplinary artist who grew up and developed conciousness at a young age in the theaterlandscape at Het Nationale Toneel and Noorderzon Festival in Groningen.
Initially Arjan started as a theater technician, but there was a growing interest in designing sound and video for theater and then developing into the design and construction of art installations.

Arjan is always looking for ways to positively fascinate people in the public space and challenges visitors to participate in this experience.
All installations created by Arjan Kruidhof are a combination of recycling former stage sceneries and remains of an industrial era. The artist collects materials from scrap and reuses them in an unconventional way.

The Relaxerette is an installation in response to our increasingly volatile society and asks the visitor “what do you need to come to yourself”. In this way he gives the visitor a moment of conciusness to reflect on life.

The MINI Relaxerette is an installation for the public space which takes the visitors on a journey in it’s own environment. This small version of the Relaxerette opens doors for Arjan to provide a stage and enter into collaborations with artists and projects with organizations: ceating a fitting installation-performance for the audience and the public space.
