Ze verdiepen zich in menselijk contact, dat de basis vormt voor hun partnerwerk. Lichaamstaal is cultureel bepaald, en tegelijkertijd ook universeel. Hun verschillende achtergronden stellen Marta &#038; Kim in staat om door een andere lens te kijken en te zoeken naar universele betekenis in hun werk.   <\/p>\n<p>Marta en Kim zoeken naar eenvoudige fysieke metaforen en werken die uit, waarbij ze toegankelijke beelden cre\u00ebren met oog voor detail. Kim volgde de opleiding tot uitvoerend danser aan Codarts. Voordat hij met Marta samen ging werken, danste hij bij onder andere DV8, Ann van den Broek, Ivan Perez, Panama Pictures en Arch8. Marta Alstads\u00e6ter (Noorwegen, 1990) studeerde in 2016 af aan de circusopleiding van Codarts.   <\/p>\n<p>Sinds 2017 werkt het duo onder de vleugels van Dansateliers in Rotterdam. Daarnaast werken ze samen met Dansearena Nord en het Arctic Arts Festival, waardoor ze sterke banden met Noorwegen hebben. Hun voorstelling ENGEL won de BNG Bank Dansprijs in 2018 en werd geselecteerd voor de selectie van Aerowaves twenty19. De voorstelling speelde wereldwijd al meer dan honderd keer.
